    A strong balanced literacy program emphasizes writing and literature appreciation. Other highlights are a wireless laptop program, CIMS math, Making Connections, Author Studies, Math Their Way and a state of the arts electronic keyboarding music program. A NYC Arts Partnership Grant helps us to incorporate the arts into all curriculum areas. Literacy Plus enhances students' literacy and math skills afterschool. The school has an art, math and drama club, a band and other clubs for students' participation. Students enjoy special trips, assembly programs and performances. Cultural arts specialists from LEAP, the NY PHILHARMONIC and YOUNG DANCERS REPERTORY work with staff and students.

    Scholars' Academy, iTeach iLearn, Journalism/New Image, Media, Dance, Art, Music. A wide range of extracurricular activities is offered to our students.
